This is One Sweet Bronze Fountain
"I like the design of this bronze fountain!"
If you’re looking into getting a bronze fountain, then you’re clearly serious about making your yard look amazing. This is not something that you just dream up and purchase on a whim. The reasons for this are many. For one thing, bronze fountains are very expensive. It’s not a cheap material, nor is it cheap to maintain it so it continually looks nice. In fact, it’s just the opposite. If this sounds too hard for you, then you need to move along and consider either getting a fiberglass fountain or a birdbath for your garden. These magnificent pieces are not all fun and games. There is a good reason many people don’t have them. But if you are serious, it’s well worth your trouble.
Now, they can be indoor or outdoor models, but if it’s inside your home or office it basically defeats the whole purpose of having it made from bronze. The main appeals of this expensive metal are the fact that it looks very regal and so it is wise to make it visible to as many people as possible. Also, the fact that this material is weather resistant and can last for hundreds of years is a big plus. So don’t get one just to put it inside. That’s what they have those fake little bamboo and pebble and Japanese models for. Not for your front yard.
You should also know that you can get mixed materials, too. You can have a concrete or slate base, for example, along with a bronze statuary figure in the middle that water runs down. You can get a bronze or copper sphere with twists and turns and hold it all together with fiberglass or resin. Basically, you’ll have a lot more freedom if you get a handmade one, though that’s going to cost even more, unless you DIY (do it yourself). If you have a fancy enough model, you can often get it shown at festivals. It’s a very large honor, but then, you put in a very large amount of effort and heart.
