This Garden Water Fountain is the Best
"What a great garden water fountain this is!"
A garden water fountain will transform any yard into a completed masterpiece, that much is true. However, many people do not know where to begin when looking for the perfect piece. It can get confusing with the different types of materials, but don’t fret about that. You just have to really consider what would look the best in your backyard or front yard (wherever the garden is that you plan to accentuate).
The different kinds of materials I was alluding to earlier are all there to make your life easier, not harder. What I mean by that is that it’s a good thing for you to have a large selection, as that allows you to get the one you absolutely want. Of course, if you don’t really like any of them, you can always go the DIY road. You’ll have to look for plans and hunker down and get to work, as handmade pieces take a good deal of time to complete.
As for the materials themselves, you can look into different types of metals (copper or bronze) or cheaper more lightweight metals that make excellent twisted sphere type fountains. You can look into concrete if that type of structure would better match the overall look and feel of your home. Just keep in mind that this type is pretty expensive and they can get pretty filthy easily. They are very well suited for simple designs like a birdbath, as opposed to a statuary type of fountain. Then, for the practical among you, there are fiberglass and resin type fountains. These are the really durable kind that are inexpensive to make or buy, and very lightweight.
There are also bamboo and Japanese style fountains, though you have to be careful that these don’t look too out of place. If they match the rest of the yard, then go for it. Most people make the mistake of just plopping it down in the garden only to realize it looks really awkward compared to the other items. For example, they don’t look quite right near a pond or solar panels.
